This works only with a RelativeLayout :!: (and I do it from code, not from xml)

I'm still working on how to make the ads disappear after 5 seconds, - haven't figured out when it is safe in the andengine game to try and reference the adView so that i can call refresh show and hide.

But the example works, and has the layout you want.

I'm currenlty using this LayoutGameActivity and I have a ViewFlipper with 5 different views which controls my app. Each view excluding the mRenderSurfaceView (which is the final view I've added to my ViewFlipper) animates when I transition between views. The mRenderSurfaceView simply pops in/out when transitioned to/from. I would like to achieve the same animation transition effect with the mRenderSurfaceView that I get with the other views I've added to the ViewFlipper instance. Is this possible? I have a few questions...

1) Is it possible to animate the mRenderSurfaceView or a parent to which it could be added? (Do you have an example of this working?)

2) Is it even possible to animate the mRenderSurfaceView instance?

3) Is there another way I could accomplish setting up my own AndEngine view in a custom view that is not tied directly to an Activity/BaseGameActivity/LayoutGameActivity?

Thank you for any knowledge dropped on my currently confused state of mind.

I'm about to see if I can get a VideoView to work in this.... that would be awesome for cinematics.
