Particle Effect Sprites

Postby Mimminito » Mon Jul 26, 2010 3:48 pm

Just in-case anyone here is interested, I have found some free to use Sprites for Particle Effects. I found the flash one to be quite nice.

Here is an image of what is in the pack:

I also have 4 particles that might be useful for someone:

Made them all myself. They have a transparent background, which is imo very useful. Here are the SVG source files in the case you want to render them bigger or smaller or reuse them otherwise:

I had used them my NexusX-LiveWallpaper (made with AndEngine ofc ;) ). In action they look like this:

Just thought I would post a fun shot as I work through and learn more about AndEngine. What do you do first?

Make the examples your own! LOL

This is my actual guitar (72 Fender Telecaster Thinline)... looks awesome!

Experiment with any 32 X 32 sized image, I went bigger but depending on device you can start to feel it depending on your bit depth, image size, etc.

Thanks!
