your concept of the online community is exactly what i would like to see, you could implement a scroll function for bigger maps. but anyway it's not very important..

We did support scroll function (thanks to AndEngine, we just added a few lines to support it), but finally we disable it. Because it makes a bit hard to do the operation in this fast pace game. It might be more useful on slow pace TD games like Robo Defense or Field Runners.

ZDefense 1.1.2 is Out!

Change logs:

Auto-disable sound effect on Sumsung Galaxy S2 to avoid freezing.
Increase start cash by 50%-100% on many normal level and some hard level maps to reduce the difficulty. Hardcore players should try Extreme Mode, if they find those maps are too easy.
Tune “Landing” map,more interesting.
Better rocket flames visual effect.
make Slow tower lvl1-2 more powerful.
fix minor bugs.
Better Map Editor, add help and sharing.
Bigger font size on tutorial images.

I wanted to use some of libgdx for a data intensive game i was creating but i keep getting error when i try to compile can you give a explanation of how you did setup.

Nothing special. I just include gdx.jar in the Libraries. I also put libgdx.so and libandroidgl20.so to libs directory, because I use some jni functions of libgdx. Could you post errors you get?

You might have already used box2d extension of AndEngine. In that extension, there are some libgdx code. You have to clone the extension src and manually remove libgdx classes. Or you'll get the compiling exception.

ZDefense 1.2 is out!

Change log:
New special tile - Space Gate. Creeps now can teleport from one gate to another!
13 new unique maps, 6 normal 7 hard.
Openfeint global leaderboard integration.
fix drawing issue.
more powerful cannon and slow tower.
minor fixes.
