admob eCPM

Postby Duiker101 » Mon Aug 08, 2011 11:41 am

Hi guys, i just released an app that is going great, and it's the first app where i use seriusly adMob(aVoid had ad but it was a sort of "test")

So i'd like to know what is the eCPM based on, let me explain, my app had one banner at te top. finish. never refreshed an nothing. so i thought to increase the impressions to add more, so when the users load new elements in the main TableLayout i add a new ad. Yesterday, before this change i had an eCpm of 0.6 today it's 0.29.

can the change that i did affect the eCPM or the eCPM is based on other things?
Anyone experienced the same thig?

Thanks

eCPM: Effective cost-per-thousand impressions is an indication of developer or publisher earnings per thousand ad impressions. eCPM is calculated as (Total Earnings / Impressions) x 1000. For example, if your total earnings are $10 and impressions are 9000, your eCPM is $1.11.
