Hello Community,

a short notice regarding the frequent problems/questions about build problems with AndEngine:

You'll add AndEngine (and the Extensions you need) to your Game project as an Android Library Project. By doing so, all changes you make to AndEngine are immediately reflected in your Game project and there is also no need to copy around native libraries. :check:

:exclamation: This means there is no "andengine.jar" anymore :exclamation:

Console throws error : There is no andengine.apk . Is that ok? :o

I had to move my c:\workspace\andenginesource\AndEngine\libs folder to the folder that I wanted to build the apk with. Don't forget the Box2d libs folder also.

It's not compiling - there are some versions compatibility problem:

I've got this, it is solved by install the other remaining android library. I suggest you install android library 1.6 to 4.03

I wished I did this when i was using GLES1, using this method the app takes seconds to upload and run

I have tried doing so, and my program compiles without any problems. however android cannot open it because it can't find the correct classes(from which I figured andengine is not on my device). When adding as a jar it /does/ work :S
