Alpha Modifier

Does any one know if Scene Alpha modifier will be added, as currently it doesn't look to be supported.

please correct me if am am wrong. I am new to this but looking for a solution.

Hi the alpha modifier does not seem to work at all on any entities.

has there been any renaming since the release of the book "learning Android Developement"by rick rodgers - forward by Nicolas Gramlich?

Hey,

Alpha modifier is working fine on my sprites. Are you setting the blend function on the sprite before trying to setAlpha?

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Show ]

Using java Syntax Highlighting

1. mySprite.setBlendFunction(GL10.GL_SRC_ALPHA, GL10.GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA);
2. mySprite.setAlpha(0.5f);

where would i set the code initially as you have stated.

would that be within the Andengine class files or on the class/level/entity i am trying to modify?

basically if i have abackground image and i wish to fade it out along with the scene menu, How would i do that?
is it possible?
