Texture editing (draw, fill, mask)

Postby rkpost » Sun Nov 21, 2010 1:58 am

Is there possible to edit a Texture on Runtime? with functions like fill or draw?

For example, I have a character with a lot of animations (a tiled sprite) but I need to change the t-shirt color in Runtime in order to represent differents characters. Or maybe something a bit more complex like draw a symbol.

Will be possible to manipulate Sprite in this way? (like Flash with action script, is a common feature to customize characters, enemies, cars, whatever without create a single texture for each).

Hi,

you can remove a TextureSource from a Texture and add a new one (that could i.e. be decorated using a TextureSourceDecorator) to the same position as the old one.

Best Regards,
Nicolas
