Cylindrical projection

Hello!
I want to create game, where world is in cylindrical projection (like Google Map's for example). I want all the sprites are projected into this cylindrical map.
So, can you give me some advice, what i should change in andengine to do this.

I think, that the best idea is to use split screen engine, and two cameras.
PS:Could somebody move this topic to GLES2 development?
