Righty.
here we go.

Just got the examples with no errors.

Ensure you download all the repo's

Within your Physics2D Project folder, create a file called local.properties

add

sdk.dir=<sdk_install_dir>/android-sdk

obviously replacing <sdk_install_dir> with your path.

Now right click Build.xml and run as Ant.

This will build the .jar referenced by AndEngine Examples


The examples will then give you an error, for the next project you need to "build" repeat the above process until you are error free.

Is anyone else having trouble with the LiveWallpaper Extension?

I have narrowed it down to the two errored imports should possibly be

import org.andengine.opengl.view.EngineRenderer;
import org.andengine.opengl.view.IRendererListener;

and

private Renderer mRenderer;

needs to be

private EngineRenderer mRenderer;

Don't quote me on it though.

I'm just trying to read through the source and work out the problem.

Anyways, as I said, I'm angry because right now my project isn't working, but I do understand the need for the changes, so I'm ok with that.

As for the new version, I downloaded it, configured everything fine, I don't get any errors, but I do get some warnings (not used vars, not safe cast, minSdkVersion and target API mismatch, etc...) and even so, I'm not able to run anything at all. I mean, I'm able to run the Examples application, and I do see the list with all demos, but no mather where I click, I always get this error:

This also happens with my project (after making the necessary changes for the new version).

I think you are right. That't the only object I see in Andengine that extends the Renderer interface. I made the same change and it worked fine.

All info is on first page. I downloaded all, and I ran examples on my device :) Now I'm adapting my project to this version :)
