Don't really know why, but after cloning andengine, i have some errors in:

BaseGameActivity
SystemUtils

Like this:

Build.VERSION_CODES.GINGERBREAD


"GINGERBREAD cannot be resolved or is not a field"

I have added default.properties file, and also added android 2.2 to build patch,

someone know what did i wrong? Thanks

Gingerbread is Android 2.3 . Just look at the settings of the AndEngineExamples and copy them to your project.

I've so far just tried copying the new andengine libs folder to my project with no success.

Every time I get this problem I manage to fix it, but I can never recall how I fixed it -_-.


when using AndEngine as a library project (recommended!!!), should make copying the native libraries unnecessary.

Btw, I'll be adding new subforums, specific to the GLES2 branch tomorrow (for Shaders-talk, etc...)

I have all the andengine projects downloaded from github. And all projects shows no error.

The examples shows a lot of errors.

For example: in the Example.java

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting

  5.

The constructor Example(Class<AnalogOnScreenControlExample>, int) is undefined

The sources of the examples are updated ten minutes ago.

Anyone have the examples running?

Great job Nicolas, but i'm loosing my mind trying to get the AndEngineExamples working. I've imported both AndEngineExamples project and AndEngine project to Eclipse. Then i've linked AndEngine's src to AndEngineExamples project, yet i'm getting errors in both projects, what am i doing wrong?

You dont need to link src Andengine now.

Those having trouble with the examples, ensure you have the Physics example to, as that is referenced.
